Brianna Johnson was an incredibly thoughtful, compassionate, and joyful colleague on our team. She arrived at Lotus after completing her bachelor's degree in International Studies and her master's in Nonprofit, Public, and Organizational Management from the University of Denver. Brianna touched the lives of countless students at the University of Denver through her involvement and leadership in the Living and Learning Communities, which was a main source of community for many. Brianna dedicated her life to building equitable communities throughout the Denver metro area and spent her time at Lotus expanding our competency and understanding of how to center equity in all our work. Clients and partners alike enjoyed her contagious enthusiasm and sincerity, even during hard times. She had a passion for community service and led many of our volunteer events. Brianna spent countless hours volunteering for various organizations including: Yoga for the People, Denver Food Rescue, Equity Labs, Rocky Mountain Mutual Aid Network, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Colorado, and The Climate Reality Project. Her sudden loss left her Lotus family and so many others devastated. Brianna will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
