GHG Inventories and climate chapter update

 Lotus first worked with Boulder County in 2016 to create a county-wide community greenhouse gas emissions inventory, delineated by community. The County asked Lotus to update the inventory for the year 2021. Also included in the scope of the 2021 inventory project was an update of the County’s climate chapter of its Sustainability Plan, the creation of an emissions dashboard for Boulder County, and the development of a StoryMap to detail the results of the 2021 GHG inventory. This tool serves as a platform to communicate what individual communities are working on in regards to Climate Action as well as proposes new strategies that could be implemented to help the County and its communities reach their climate action goals.
