NEID is governed by a Board of Directors that includes representatives from the Colorado Energy Office, the real estate development industry, banking, energy efficiency, and renewable energy industries and public utilities. Julia sits on the Advisory Board for Solar United Neighbors (SUN) Colorado Chapter, a non-profit organization whose mission is to expand access to rooftop solar energy across the state by helping people go solar, collaborate in their communities, and fight for energy rights. The Colorado Chapter of SUN is one of the newest in the country and has already developed multiple solar co-op models that have resulted in hundreds of kilowatts of installed capacity in the chapter’s first year of operation alone.

Julia and her husband started a sustainable farm and have a booth at the Erie Farmer’s market every week. Check out more about the farm here: https://www.foxplotfarm.com/.
